Company Introduction
Jiangsu Kaichen Power Equipment Co., Ltd. was founded in 2013 in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, China. We are a comprehensive power equipment manufacturer integrating the R&D, production and sales of diesel generator sets, with an annual capacity of 8,000 units and a factory area of 36,000 square metres. Our products cover open, silent, container and mobile trailer types from 20kVA to 4000kVA, widely used in data centres, hospitals, telecom, mining, oil & gas, transportation, construction and residential sectors.
We hold official OEM partnerships with Cummins, Perkins, Volvo, Weichai, Yuchai, SDEC, Mitsubishi and Scania, and are certified with ISO9001, ISO14001 and GB/T28001. As a National High-Tech Enterprise since 2020, we own more than 10 utility-model patents and deliver one-stop customised solutions from design and selection to installation and after-sales support.
In-house Manufacturing, Not Just Assembly
Unlike most traders who buy engines, alternators and canopies separately and bolt them together on site, Kaichen keeps the three core value-added steps in our own Yangzhou factory. This is why the cost comes down and the quality stays consistent.
- Pure-copper alternators wound in-house. We use high-grade silicon steel and 100% copper enameled wire, wound and vacuum-impregnated on our own line at insulation class H.
- Silent canopies on an automated sheet-metal line. Laser cutting, pressed on tooling, coated with weather-resistant powder, lined with flame-retardant acoustic foam and labyrinth intake/exhaust channels that cut noise to 65–75 dB(A).
- Control panels and ATS cabinets built in-house. Auto-start panels, ATS dual-transfer cabinets and parallel-switchgear are wired to match the exact engine and alternator data, not a generic catalogue.
Four-Stage Load Bank Test on Every Set
Most factories hand a set over after a no-idle run. Every Kaichen set runs on our 2MW digital load bank through a stepped sequence. The test video is recorded, archived one-file-per-set and shared with the buyer before shipment.
